With the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Department of Planning and Investment donated 50 million VND; the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An province donated 100 million VND; the Party Committee of the Provincial CCQ Bloc and the political theory training class for candidates admitted to the Party for the second term in 2020 donated nearly 27 million VND; Nghe An Provincial Post Office donated 100 million VND; the Office of the Provincial People's Committee donated 60 million VND; the Provincial Farmers' Association donated 25.4 million VND; the Department of Construction donated 31 million VND; BIDV Bank, Nghe An Branch donated 50 million VND.

Nghe An Newspaper donated 18 million VND; Nghe An Agricultural Import-Export Corporation donated 10 million VND; VNPT Nghe An donated 55 million VND; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development donated 15 million VND; Provincial Association for the Support of the Disabled and Handicapped donated 10 million VND in cash and medicine worth more than 500 million VND; Provincial Ethnic Committee donated more than 9,500,000 VND; Hong Son Ward People's Committee (TPV) donated 33 million VND in kind and many individuals and kind-hearted people donated cash and gifts to help people quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province acknowledged and expressed deep gratitude for the meaningful work of agencies, units, organizations and enterprises that have provided timely spiritual and material support to encourage the people of the Central region to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

After 2 days of launching a campaign to support the people of Central Vietnam to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, as of the afternoon of October 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province had received over 2.9 billion VND (including 1.3 billion VND in cash and 1.6 billion VND in kind). Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province had transferred 400 million VND to each locality of Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue to overcome the difficulties caused by storms and floods.

On October 20, the Campaign Committee continued to send 2 shipments to Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue to hand-deliver necessities to people facing difficulties due to storms and floods. It is known that all donated objects and necessities will be transported free of charge by Nghe An Provincial Post Office from the districts to the province and to the Central provinces to people in the flood-affected areas.

Also on the afternoon of October 20, a working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited, encouraged and presented support to 4 families of Nghe An martyrs who died while participating in the rescue at Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant, each family received 20 million VND.
