This is a meaningful activity that contributes to encouraging and supporting folk song clubs – those that are preserving, conserving, and developing the melodies of Nghe Tinh folk songs. Coming from the folk song club of Ngoc Son commune (Thanh Chuong district), Ms. Vo Thi Van emotionally said: “Thanks to the former students of Phan School, I stood on a large stage for the first time to sing the songs of my homeland – songs that I have been captivated by all my life. And today, with this support, we will have more motivation to strive to preserve, protect, and develop the beauty of folk songs.”
Mr. Tran Van Thanh, from the Folk Song Club of Phuc Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district), shared: “This is a very meaningful endeavor because with the collective efforts of the community, those of us who love folk songs and melodies will be empowered to continue preserving this precious heritage of our ancestors. The Folk Song Club of Phuc Thanh commune will develop in the direction of coordinating with schools to teach and instill a love for folk songs and melodies in children. That is the direction for sustainable preservation.”
