(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 19, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) on SABECO's production and business situation in the area.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Nghe An province, there were comrade: Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches in the province.

On behalf of Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO), there were Mr. Bennett Neo - General Director; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - General Director of SATRACO and leaders of the Corporation's Departments and Offices, and leaders of member units in Nghe An.

At the meeting, Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and active investment of SABECO Corporation in Nghe An. In the past time, despite facing many difficulties due to weather, complicated epidemic developments and new policies that have greatly affected the production and business situation of the Corporation's member units in Nghe An, in 2020, with the efforts of the units, they contributed nearly 1 billion VND to the state budget; created jobs for more than 1,000 workers, along with that, SABECO Corporation actively participated in charity and social security activities in the area...

In Nghe An, there are 3 member units of SABECO Corporation (SABACO North Central Trading Joint Stock Company, Saigon - Song Lam Brewery, Saigon - Nghe Tinh Brewery), in which SABACO North Central Trading Joint Stock Company is a unit operating quite effectively in the business field, currently accounting for 35% market share in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and in 2020 is expected to consume more than 20 million liters, creating jobs for nearly 500 workers. At Saigon - Song Lam Brewery, in 2020, it produced 61 million liters, creating jobs for 210 workers; Saigon - Nghe Tinh Brewery produced 39 million liters, creating jobs for 250 workers...
