Continuing to enhance the strategic production position of Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 23, at the Spring Investor Meeting 2019, Mr. David Nardone - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and International Executive Director of WHA Group said that improving infrastructure and investing in road, sea, rail and air transport will continue to enhance the strategic production position of Nghe An province.

Currently, WHA is developing its first project in Vietnam, WHA Industrial Park 1 - Nghe An, which is the largest industrial park in the North Central region. The project is developing phase 1 with an area of 498 hectares, starting with the completion of leveling 143 hectares of land in parallel with the construction of industrial infrastructure systems and is expected to complete the infrastructure and full industrial park utilities in 2019.
“We are welcoming investors to join WHA Nghe An Industrial Park right now,” said Mr. David Nardone, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and International CEO of WHA Group.

Over the past 30 years, WHA has been a leading industrial park developer with 11 integrated industrial parks covering a total area of 7,800 hectares in Thailand, attracting more than 750 global customers and 32 billion USD in investment.
WHA’s expansion into Vietnam brings three decades of global best practice knowledge and experience in environmentally sustainable industrial development. The project will also promote and increase employment, education, training and business opportunities for the local community.

They visited the WHA Nghe An Industrial Zone this morning. We told them the story of the cooperation and support we have received from the People's Committees of Nghi Long and Nghi Thuan communes, the Dong Nam Economic Zone, the Nghe An provincial government and the Vietnamese government since the beginning of planning for the project,” said the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and International CEO of WHA Group.

Nghe An is an attractive province for investors because of its location as a center for business, education, manufacturing and its trained workforce. Improvements in infrastructure and investment in road, sea, rail and air transport will further enhance Nghe An’s strategic manufacturing position.
