On the morning of May 29th, the Standing Committee of the Hung Nguyen District Party Committee held a conference to review the results of the past two years of implementing Directive 03-CT/TƯ on "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" and the first year of implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee on "Some urgent issues concerning Party building today". In Hung Nguyen district, after two years of implementing Directive 03-CT/TU, significant changes have been made in both thought and action among cadres, Party members, and people from the district level to the grassroots. Many effective "follow-up" initiatives have truly spread and had a positive impact on social life, such as: the district police effectively maintaining security in religious and rural areas, advising on and promptly handling hotspots; the Youth Union with many practical youth projects and timely donations to help Keng Du commune (Ky Son district); and the Veterans' Associations at all levels upholding the traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers, striving to build economic models and develop new rural areas. Many individuals in the district have also emerged with practical "follow-up" initiatives such as teaching, providing free medical examinations and treatment, voluntarily collecting and cleaning the environment using their own means, and creating jobs for rural workers.

A report after one year of implementing Resolution No. 4 of the Central Committee (11th term) "Some urgent issues concerning Party building today" shows that the results of self-criticism and criticism from the district level to the grassroots Party branches have directly impacted each cadre and Party member, especially leading and managerial cadres, in terms of raising awareness, ideology, and cultivating moral qualities, especially public service ethics. Hung Nguyen district directed the consolidation and strengthening of key cadres in Hung Khanh and Hung Yen Nam communes; transferred two departmental managers to the grassroots level; disciplined and warned two members of the Party Committee Standing Committees of the two communes; warned seven cadres; reprimanded three leading cadres; and expelled two Party members…
Certificates of commendation were awarded to 10 groups for their outstanding achievements.
At the conference, presentations assessed the achievements, highlighted lessons learned, and identified limitations for the future. Emphasis was placed on effectively implementing Directive 03-CT/TƯ and Resolution 4 of the Central Committee, continuing to replicate effective "following the example" practices, and stressing the importance of setting a good example among cadres and Party members, especially leading and managerial cadres. The conference also stressed the need to seriously implement the tasks to be done immediately after the review of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee. On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee commended and rewarded 10 collectives and 19 individuals for their outstanding achievements in studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh in 2013.
