Save and ensure safe and stable power supply
(Baonghean) - To ensure stable power supply for production, business and essential electricity needs of people in the dry season of 2014, on May 16, 2014, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 3202/UBND-CN, requesting: Directors of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns; Director of Nghe An Electricity Company; Directors of power plants; Heads of provincial agencies and units are responsible for continuing to direct and strictly implement Directive 08/CT-UBND dated March 1, 2011.
Accordingly,Department of Industry and Trade: Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the electricity supply plan of Nghe An Electricity Company; the regulation of water for irrigation in the province; inspect, evaluate, and synthesize reports and plans for electricity use of agencies, units using the State budget, and key energy-using facilities in the whole province. Advise the Provincial People's Committee to promptly handle cases of failure to implement electricity saving measures; urge investors of hydropower projects to accelerate the completion of hydropower projects.
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development:Direct units to plan to apply for electricity for pumping stations serving drought-fighting irrigation and coordinate with Nghe An Electricity to provide electricity according to the list of priority customers to ensure electricity supply approved by the Provincial People's Committee; Plan irrigation for agriculture, coordinate with hydropower plants in the area to regulate water reasonably to ensure both electricity generation and sufficient water supply for irrigation.
Department of Finance:Coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to inspect and control the implementation of savings to approve annual settlement of savings implementation of units under their management according to Joint Circular No. 111/2009/TTLT/BTC-BTC.
Department of Information and Communications, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Nghe An NewspaperTogether with the radio, television and grassroots broadcasting systems, strengthen propaganda and mobilize organizations and people to understand the importance of saving electricity, actively respond to the development of radio and television programs on saving electricity; spend appropriate time to propagate the State's policy on implementing solutions to save electricity.
For agencies, offices, manufacturing enterprises, households: Implement the annual electricity saving plan of the agency, unit according to Circular 111/2009/TTLT/BCT-BCT of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade on instructions for electricity saving in state agencies, public service units...
