Last year, due to his health not having fully recovered from a serious illness, "Co Dau" Cong Ly could not participate in Tao Quan 2022 even though he was assigned a role in the script. The absence of Cong Ly made Tao Quan lack the flavor of sharp, profound laughter... At that time, many viewers sent their wishes and hoped that artist Cong Ly would return soon.

This year, artist Cong Ly joined the Tao Quan rehearsal early. Although his health is not as stable as before, he is still able to handle his role. And this year, "Co Dau" Cong Ly will definitely return in an impressive way.

Artist Van Dung said that since the Tao Quan 2023 crew started practicing, artist Cong Ly has never missed a single practice session. Many people in the crew were concerned about his health, so they asked him to stay home and rest, only coming to practice when his role was up to par, but he still refused.

"Every day Cong Ly came very early and stayed until the end before leaving. On the first days of practice, Ngoc Ha (Cong Ly's wife) brought him, but later on he insisted on coming himself. Every day he came to practice, he was happy and excited. Everyone was worried about his health so they told him to come when he had a role, but Cong Ly always wanted to come to practice with everyone. When he came to practice, he ate boxed lunch and slept on folding chairs like everyone else, nothing different. Seeing Cong Ly healthier and more excited like that made us very happy," artist Van Dung revealed.

Cong Ly's role in Tao Quan 2023 has few lines but "every time he appears, he is great"

According to artist Van Dung, this year, Cong Ly's role does not have as many lines as before because "everyone supports him" but "every time he appears, he does his best". Notably, Cong Ly still remembers and memorizes his lines very well, there is nothing to worry about.

"We are a family, so whenever we are together, we are very happy. Seeing Cong Ly recover day by day and be able to return to his profession, everyone is touched. Although practicing at night is a bit tiring, the excitement makes us forget our fatigue," added artist Van Dung.

According to artist Van Dung, this year, Tao Quan is 20 years old, so the program will be more special than every year. However, at the present time, the script for each role still needs to be added in each rehearsal. And besides the Northern crew, there are currently no actors from the South participating in the rehearsal. The female artist also revealed that on January 5, 6 and 7, the Tao Quan 2023 program will begin filming.
