Surprising revelation about Hillary Clinton's concession.
Hillary Clinton's campaign manager has refuted reports that President Barack Obama advised the former secretary of state to concede defeat.
According to Robby Mook, there was no advice from President Barack Obama to Hillary Clinton to concede defeat to Donald Trump on the night of November 8th. Mook stated that Hillary Clinton made the decision herself, before any conversation with Obama.

"She made the decision on her own before speaking to the President," Mook said on CNN's State of the Union program, which also featured Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump's campaign manager.
This is the first time the campaign managers of Trump and Clinton have appeared together since the presidential election ended.
"She did it because she believed, and because she had stated during the campaign, that regardless of who wins, it's incredibly important for the opponent to concede and endorse the president-elect. Therefore, she acted with entirely good intentions," Mook said.
After hearing Mr. Mook reveal this information, Kellyanne Conway, campaign manager for President-elect Donald Trump, stated that precisely because Hillary Clinton conceded defeat that night, her supporters should move on.
"I want to ask those of you who support Hillary Clinton a question: will you accept the election results? Because he is also your president," Conway said.
Previously, The Hill, citing three sources close to Hillary Clinton, reported that on election night, November 8th, as the voting results became clearer, US President Barack Obama himself called Hillary Clinton to persuade the former Secretary of State to concede defeat to her opponent.
"You need to concede," Obama reportedly told Hillary Clinton, as the former secretary of state, her family, and top advisers continued to monitor the vote count in battleground states including Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
According to The Hill, Hillary Clinton finally heeded Obama's advice and called Trump to concede defeat early on the morning of November 9th.
Sources cited by The Hill suggest that President Barack Obama's surprise call disappointed some of Hillary Clinton's allies, who believed she should have waited longer.
In another development, on December 3rd, Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein announced she would take the issue of recounting presidential election votes in Pennsylvania to federal court.
Ms. Stein will file her petition with federal court on December 5th. Earlier that day, she withdrew her request for a recount in Pennsylvania.
