Revealing how Russia “interfered” in the US election
In his report on the investigation into “Russian collusion,” US special prosecutor Robert Mueller said that the Russian Federation interfered in the 2016 US election through social media attacks and hackers.

"The Internet Research Agency conducted early intervention activities on the issue of Russian interference, which was detected by the investigation - a campaign in social networks to incite and exaggerate dissent among segments of society in the United States," - the report said.
“At the same time, as the Internet Research Agency’s activities began to focus on supporting Trump’s candidacy in early 2016, the Russian government adopted a second form of interference — hacking and publishing hacker materials that were detrimental to the Hillary Clinton campaign,” the document reads.
Additionally, Mueller stated in the report that the Russian Federation wanted Trump elected president, however "the investigation did not reveal that members of the Trump campaign colluded or coordinated with the Russian government."
