“Taste of Love” will end after more than ten episodes. Director, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Mai Hien is making a film with a new theme, airing right after “Taste of Love” ends.

“Street in the Village” is not only a colorful picture of the countryside, but also the story of Nam - a criminal police officer - who was transferred to the countryside to take on the position of commune police officer.
“Street in the villageis a film about the Northern countryside, the main character is a police officer. In the film, there are no scenes of chasing, solving crimes, or investigating, instead there is the image of a police officer with the policy of bringing regular forces to the commune. Sometimes the difficulties in customs, land, and family relations create challenges for them, forcing them to overcome and resolve them", director, Meritorious Artist Mai Hien shared in the program.VTV Connect.

“Street in the Village” brings together a young cast with many familiar faces such as Anh Tuan, Ngoc Anh, Thu Minh, Manh Dat… The two main characters in the film are Lieutenant Nam and Ngoc - a nurse at the commune health station - played by actors Anh Tuan and Ngoc Anh, promising to create an interesting duo.
“This is really a very good role. When I accepted this role, I felt very difficult, because this was the first time I tried playing the image of a soldier, the difficulty was from the dialogue and image,” Anh Tuan said.
Actress Ngoc Anh - a young female face promises to bring a new, pure breeze to the film.

After a series of films about urban areas, “Street in the Village” brings beautiful images of the Northern countryside. The film crew moved to many places to choose fresh spaces to attract audiences, including the scene of ripe rice fields in Hien Ninh commune, Soc Son, Hanoi. The film crew spent the whole morning filming the scene where the actors and extras harvested rice. The scene marked the first time Nam returned to the area to work.
“In this film, I focused quite a bit on the visuals. The film has many beautiful, lyrical scenes,” director Mai Hien shared.
