Vinh urban sub-project still has problems in Hung Nguyen

On the morning of January 25, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the city leaders inspected the progress of the Vinh urban project. The delegation inspected all routes and packages starting from the 35m road, 72m road, Quan Bau, Nghi Duc, Nghi An up to Hung Nguyen.

At key points that needed direction, the vice chairman directly directed the city and contractors to handle the situation immediately.

According to the report of the Vinh Urban Sub-project Management Board, the package to upgrade and renovate the ditch around Vinh Citadel is completing the embankment and management road; the project is expected to be completed before April 30, 2018.

On the Hung Tay - Vinh connecting road, one household has been cleared but is still obstructing construction.

In the Nam Phuc Long section in Hung Nguyen, 14/63 households have not yet received compensation. Land acquisition is expected to be completed in January 2018.

At the construction site, contractors are speeding up the construction progress, ensuring the completion of the base layer before February 30, 2018, asphalt concrete paving and finishing before May 15, 2018. Currently, the construction volume is estimated at 72%, while the implementation time is about 75%.

The section passing through Quan Bau ward under the Vinh - Hung Tay road package is speeding up the construction progress of the railway overpass. The contractor has mobilized machinery, equipment, and human resources to work at night, so the overpass will be completed before January 31, 2018, paved with asphalt concrete, and completed before March 31, 2018 to ensure the requirements of the Provincial People's Committee.

For the road connecting National Highway 46 with the Lam River road, the construction volume is estimated at 65%, while the implementation time is about 80%, expected to be completed in March 2018.

Up to now, the total disbursed ODA capital of Vinh City Sub-project is 61.42 million USD, reaching 72.5% of the total existing project capital (84.66 million USD), the project implementation time is 86%.

After working with the districts and inspecting the entire route, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien directed Vinh city to resolutely direct the problem points before Tet, ensure people's security, clear the entire route to Vinh bypass road; and direct to focus on the construction of Thanh lake and Dieu Hoa lake.

The Vice Chairman requested Hung Nguyen district to direct 5 points to be completed in Nam Phuc Long hamlet before Tet holiday so that contractors can clear the route to Hung Nguyen. Currently, the policy problems here have been resolved by the province.
