(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 19, 2015, the Vinh City Veterinary Station, in coordination with the Vinh City Environmental Police team, organized the destruction of over 6,000 ducklings of unknown origin.

Earlier, at 0:00 on June 18th, the Vinh City Environmental Police team, in coordination with the veterinary station and the Vinh City Traffic Police team, inspected a passenger bus with license plate 74D-00442 driven by Nguyen Quy Nhan, born in 1983, residing at Ward 6, Precinct 3, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province. During the inspection, the team discovered 6,080 ducklings on the bus. The owner of the shipment could not present product inspection certificates or proof of origin.

Authorities have drawn up a report and proceeded to destroy the poultry in accordance with the law.
