Tieu Vy entered the Top 5 "Beauty with a Heart" of Miss World
Tieu Vy's project "Journey of Water" was highly appreciated by the organizers, but the victory belonged to the Nepalese beauty.
The Miss World Organizing Committee has just announced the results of the "Beauty With A Purpose" award. The Top 5 include projects from representatives from Nepal, New Zealand, Indonesia, Mexico, and Vietnam. This competition is considered important because it aims at the charity criteria of the contest. The Top 5 will be given a special place in the top 30 in the final night.
Tran Tieu Vy expressed on her personal page: "I am so happy, so happy that the whole world knows about my project. Thank you to the organizers for giving me this honor."
The organizers have not yet announced the videos of the top 5. Tieu Vy's project is to bring clean water to Ban Niu, Thuong Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province. This is a place without national grid electricity, no internet and most urgently, no clean water for basic activities. People in Ban Niu use water from Ca Roong stream for daily activities, bathing, and even eating without cooking. She and her team dug wells and installed water filtration systems for the people here.

Last year, Miss My Linh was also in the top 5 "Beauty with a Heart" at Miss World 2017 with the project "Carrying Electricity to the Village". In the final night, the organizers did not announce the winner of the highest title as expected but honored all five contestants.
The Miss World 2018 contest has the participation of 120 contestants from countries and territories. Tran Tieu Vy left for the competition on November 9. The final round will take place in Sanya, China on December 8./.
