However, Thanh Dat affirmed that he was serious when coming to the contest and not just to attract attention. In response to the prejudice that TikTokers participate in singing contests just to create tricks and attract views for their channels, Thanh Dat expressed his opinion: "I think that is the common reaction of everyone, everyone will think that TikTokers only participate in singing contests to create coverage. However, I am not like that. I respect and seriously pursue the singing career. That prejudice will disappear for me if I perform well as a singer."
