Searching for a Nghe An fisherman missing at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing at sea, a crew member in Quynh Ngoc commune (Quynh Luu) unfortunately slipped and fell into the sea and went missing. Fishing vessels are currently searching for the victim.
Accordingly, at around 6:00 p.m. on August 26, crew member Ngo Van Huan (born in 1979), residing in Quynh Ngoc commune, participated in catching seafood on a fishing boat captained by Le Van Huu in Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu). While standing on the boat, Mr. Huan unfortunately slipped and fell into the sea and went missing.
Discovering the incident, fishermen on the boat put on life jackets and jumped into the sea to search, and at the same time mobilized 6 local fishing boats operating nearby to assist.
By the afternoon of August 27, after nearly a day of searching, the victim had not yet been found.
Currently, fishing vessels are continuing to surround the area where the missing crew member is searching.
It is known that crew member Ngo Van Huan is currently married with 2 young children, and his family is in difficult circumstances.
