Searching for a missing Nghe An fisherman in the Gulf of Tonkin
(Baonghean.vn) - While fishing at sea, a fisherman unfortunately slipped and fell into the sea and went missing.
On the morning of March 21, information from the authorities of Dien Bich commune (Dien Chau district) said that a local fisherman fell from a fishing boat into the sea and is currently missing.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of March 19, Mr. Hoang Van Sau (born in 1975), residing in Bac Chien hamlet, Dien Bich commune, while on a fishing boat with other crew members to catch seafood in the Gulf of Tonkin, unfortunately due to big waves and strong winds, Mr. Sau fell into the sea and went missing.
Immediately afterwards, the crew on board reported to local authorities and asked for help from other ships but to no avail.
Currently, local authorities are coordinating with the Fisheries Association and relevant agencies to search for victims.
