(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 19th, in Vinh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the closing ceremony of the Nghe An Tourism Photo Contest and Exhibition 2014.
Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Union of Literature and Arts Associations, units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Nghe An and Ha Tinh Photography Clubs, and representatives from tourism businesses in the area.

The 2014 Nghe An Tourism Photo Contest aimed to capture beautiful moments in the tourism sector to build a database for more professional and effective promotion and advertising of the province's tourism. After three months of launching, the contest organizers received 308 entries from 38 photographers. The judging panel selected 80 works for the final round.

Among the 80 works selected for exhibition, 4 received honorable mentions, 3 received third prize, 2 received second prize, and the first prize was awarded to "Legend of Sao Va Waterfall" by Nguyen Canh Hung. On this occasion, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists awarded certificates to 6 works that won first, second, and third prizes.
