Looking for victims of the "feng shui" tiktoker Che Minh Thuy's fraud
On September 27, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ninh Province Police announced that it is investigating a criminal case of "Fraudulent appropriation of property" that occurred on October 31, 2024, in Ward 2, Binh Phong Thanh Town, Moc Hoa District, Long An Province (now Binh Phong Thanh 2 Hamlet, Moc Hoa Commune, Tay Ninh Province).
The suspect is named Che Minh Thuy (born in 1985, residing at 49G, Street 16, Binh Hung Hoa A Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City; now at 49G, Street 16, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Through investigation, the Police Agency determined that Thuy created a Facebook account named "Ben Thien Duyen" and a tiktok account "Phong Thuy 0102"; "Ben Thien Luong" posted content such as the ability to dispel bad luck, spells; open the palace of fortune, attract luck, have the ability to make others lucky to buy winning lottery tickets; at the same time post pictures of winning lottery tickets, receive money... When there are, the person texting and transferring money to Thuy through two account numbers including: 0703067144 (Military Bank) and account number 19073115363016 (Techcombank) to pray for dispelling bad luck.
Initially, the victims transferred a small amount of money. Therefore, Thuy gave many different reasons such as: the offering to the ancestors was not successful, the ancestors did not receive it, the ancestors were angry, they had to perform a ritual again... At the same time, Thuy delivered bonsai trees and candles of low value, claiming they were feng shui objects, so that the victims believed her and continued to transfer more and more money. Thuy appropriated money from many victims in many provinces and cities across the country.
To serve the investigation of the case, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ninh Province informs the people of the whole country about Thuy's tricks. The victims are requested to come to the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ninh Province (address: 493 Chau Thi Kim, Tan An Ward, Tay Ninh Province) or contact Investigator Phan Tri Thao, Tel: 0975.822.122 to report and resolve according to the law. If the relevant person does not come to work, cooperate to provide information and documents before the end of the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency of Tay Ninh Province will not have the basis to consider and resolve the legal rights and interests in the case.
