(Baonghean.vn) - On October 11, the Collection Team, Political Department, Military Command of Nghe An province announced that they had just found a martyr's remains along with relics at Phu Na Luong mountain, Hoi Luon village, Long Xan hamlet, Muong Khun district, Xieng Khouang province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Previously, on October 9, Mr. A Va, residing in Phu Cut district, Xieng Khouang province, while digging for scrap iron at Phu Na Luong mountain, Hoi Luon village, Long Xan hamlet, Muong Khun district, Xieng Khouang province, dug up a grave with a tank and human bones suspected to be Vietnamese soldiers who died in the war. At the same time, through inquiring with the elders in the village, it was learned that in the past, Vietnamese soldiers helped the Lao people fight the enemy in the locality and that some people who died were buried in the area. After confirming the information, Mr. A Va reported it to the local authorities and the Collection Team, Political Department, Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

From the above information, on October 11,Martyrs' Remains Collection TeamNghe An province sent a team of 3 comrades led by Lieutenant Colonel Tran Nam Trung - Deputy Head of the Collection Team to coordinate with the Special Working Group of Xieng Khouang province, the Military Command of Muong Khun district and local Party Committees and authorities to conduct a survey to determine that this was the grave of Vietnamese soldiers and to conduct the collection.

The remains were located at a depth of about 1 meter along with relics such as tanks, belts, army socks...

Immediately afterwards, the martyrs' remains were brought by the Collection Team to be worshiped at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh and the Martyrs in Phonsavan Town, Xieng Khouang Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.
