Car found fallen into Red River, 2 people in car died
At 1 a.m. on November 4, rescuers were able to bring the Mercedes that had broken the bridge railing and fallen into the Red River to shore. Two people in the car died.

At 1 a.m. on November 4, rescuers recovered a 5-seat car that crashed into the railing of Chuong Duong bridge and fell into the Red River the night before.
Authorities are examining the scene and have confirmed that two people were killed in the car. Rescuers say there may be more victims who have not yet been found.
The car that caused the accident has license plate 30E-86836 and is a black 5-seat Mercedes.

Previously,At around 7:30 pm on November 3, a black car suddenly crashed through the Chuong Duong bridge and fell into the river. Many people present at the time stopped to watch, causing traffic congestion. Traffic police were present at the scene to cordon off the area and restrict traffic.
As soon as the accident was reported, Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee Khuat Viet Hung and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Van Suu arrived at the scene to direct search and rescue operations.

Initially, the authorities collected some parts and black tires suspected to be from this car that fell on the bridge.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi Nguyen Van Suu has requested units to organize traffic flow, prevent congestion in the bridge area; quickly fix the broken bridge railing and urgently search for and salvage the damaged vehicle.
At that time, the Waterway Traffic Police and the Capital Command mobilized many specialized ships and boats and those of the people to participate in search and rescue.
