Meanwhile, at Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of SJC gold at the time of the survey was listed at 137.4 - 138.4 million VND/ounce for buying and selling. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, the price of gold bars was traded at 136.4 - 138.4 million VND/ounce (buying - selling).

USD exchange rate today, October 2, 2025: The central USD exchange rate remains unchanged.
As of 6:00 AM on October 2nd, the State Bank of Vietnam announced that the central USD exchange rate remained unchanged from yesterday, at 25,187 VND/USD.
The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam's exchange floor is listed at 23,978 VND/USD for buying and 26,396 VND/USD for selling.
With a margin of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate is 26,446 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate is 23,927 VND/USD.
At Vietcombank, the USD exchange rate was adjusted slightly downwards, to 26,176 VND/USD (buying rate) and 26,446 VND/USD (selling rate).
VietinBank maintained its buying price at 26,065 VND/USD but reduced its selling price by 5 VND to 26,446 VND/USD.
Agribank also reduced the rate by 5 dong in both directions, listing it at 26,270 dong/USD (buying) and 26,446 dong/USD (selling).
In the free market, the exchange rate is trading around 26,572 VND/USD (buying) and 26,652 VND/USD (selling), down 2 VND compared to yesterday.

On the international market, the USD Index (DXY), which measures the strength of the USD against a basket of major currencies, fell 0.1% to 97.81 points compared to the previous session.
The euro edged higher by 0.1% to $1.1740, but still recorded a 0.4% decline in the third quarter, its sharpest drop since October 2024. The Australian dollar (AUD) rose 0.6% to $0.6615 after the Reserve Bank of Australia kept interest rates unchanged.
For the third quarter as a whole, the AUD rose 0.5%. The British pound (GBP) gained 0.1% to $1.3450, but was still down 2% for the quarter, its lowest level in almost a year.
Pepper prices today, October 2nd, 2025: Continue to decrease slightly.
Today's pepper prices in key growing regions continued to decline slightly compared to yesterday. As a result, the average domestic pepper price is between 145,000 VND/kg and 146,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, in Gia Lai, the price of pepper today is 145,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
Pepper prices in Ho Chi Minh City decreased by 1000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with traders buying pepper at 146,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, in Lam Dong, the market price of pepper is being purchased by traders at 146,000 VND/kg, a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg compared to the previous day.
Pepper prices in Dak Lak decreased by 1000 VND/kg, recorded at 146,000 VND/kg.

On the world market, based on quotations from exporting companies and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of various types of pepper traded on the international market on October 2nd (local time) as follows:
Specifically, the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,979 per ton. Additionally, the price of Muntok white pepper also remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,889 per ton.
The price of Brazilian ASTA black pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at $6,500 per ton.
Malaysian ASTA black pepper prices remained unchanged from yesterday at US$9,600/ton. Similarly, ASTA white pepper prices also remained unchanged from yesterday at US$13,000/ton.
Prices for all types of Vietnamese pepper remain unchanged compared to yesterday. Specifically, the price of Vietnamese black pepper (500 gr/l) is 6600 USD/ton; and (550 gr/l) is 6800 USD/ton.
In addition, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained unchanged from yesterday at 9250 USD/ton.
Coffee prices today, October 2nd, 2025: Slightly increased in Lam Dong.
Domestic coffee prices today, October 2nd, 2025, in the Central Highlands region saw a slight increase in Lam Dong compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 114,700 and 116,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in the former Dak Nong region are buying coffee at the highest price of 116,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Similarly, the price of coffee in Dak Lak province remains unchanged from yesterday at 116,000 VND/kg.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged compared to yesterday, trading at 115,800 VND/kg.
In Lam Dong province, the price of coffee increased by 400 VND/kg compared to yesterday, reaching 114,700 VND/kg.

On the London exchange, the online price of robusta coffee futures for November 2025 delivery reached $4391/tonne, up 4.55% ($191/tonne) from yesterday. The January 2026 futures contract increased 4.52% ($189/tonne), reaching $4375/tonne.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 2.08% (7.8 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 382.65 US cents/pound. The March 2026 contract increased 2.09% (7.5 US cents/pound), to 366.45 US cents/pound.

On the Brazilian exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for December 2025 delivery rose 1.32% (5.95 US cents/lb) compared to yesterday, reaching 456.65 US cents/lb. The March 2026 contract increased 1.21% (5.4 US cents/lb), reaching 451.4 US cents/lb.

Gasoline and diesel prices today, October 2nd, 2025: Dropped to their lowest levels since early September.
On October 2nd, world crude oil prices continued to plummet, reaching their lowest level since early September as OPEC+ considered increasing production and demand in the US and Asia showed signs of decline.
During trading, December Brent crude futures fell 56 cents, or 0.9%, to $65.47 per barrel. US WTI crude for November delivery also lost 53 cents, falling to $61.84 per barrel. This is the lowest level since early September, after prices plummeted more than 3% earlier in the week and continued to lose another 1.5% on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced new retail fuel prices effective from 3 PM on September 25th. Specifically, they are as follows:
- The price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 370 VND/liter to 19,610 VND/liter.
- The price of RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 440 VND/liter, to 20,160 VND/liter.
- Diesel fuel prices decreased slightly by 50 VND/liter, to 18,650 VND/liter.
- The price of kerosene increased by 80 VND/liter to 18,620 VND/liter.
- The price of fuel oil increased by 70 VND/kg, to 15,200 VND/kg.
During this period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance did not allocate or utilize funds from the Price Stabilization Fund.
Rubber prices today, October 2, 2025:
In Singapore, October 2025 rubber futures prices fell 1.87% ($2.9/tonne) compared to yesterday, to $170/tonne. November 2025 futures contracts fell 3.55% ($6.2/tonne), reaching $168.1/tonne.

At the opening of trading on October 2nd in China, the price of October 2025 rubber futures on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) fell 1.44% (210 yuan) to 14,265 yuan/tonne. The price of November 2025 rubber futures fell 0.75% (110 yuan) to 14,365 yuan/tonne.

At the time of this survey, the price of RSS3 on the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for November 2025 delivery decreased by 5.34% (17 Yen/kg) compared to yesterday, to 300.5 Yen/kg. The December 2025 contract decreased by 6.29% (20 Yen/kg), reaching 297.3 Yen/kg.

Cocoa prices today, October 2nd, 2025:
As of 6:00 AM on October 2, 2025, cocoa prices traded on the New York exchange for December 2025 delivery fell 9.41% (US$700/ton) compared to yesterday, to US$6731/ton. The March 2026 contract decreased by 7.43% (US$545/ton), reaching US$6777/ton.

At the time of this survey, London cocoa prices for December 2025 delivery were down 0.58% (28 GBP/tonne) compared to yesterday, at 4702 GBP/tonne. The March 2026 contract also fell 0.58% (28 GBP/tonne), reaching 4718 GBP/tonne.
