Estonian Intelligence: Russia's "Nord Stream 2" threatens European security
Estonian intelligence claims that Russia's Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream gas pipelines threaten European security.

Both gas pipelines will increase European countries' dependence on Russian natural gas imports.
"These pipelines give Russia additional leverage to increase its political influence over European countries. This threatens the security of this region," - quoted from the report "Estonia in the International Security Environment 2019" of the Foreign Department of the Estonian Intelligence Service, in which the main focus of attention is given to Russia.
Estonian intelligence also noted that both the Russian Nord Stream 2 and Turkish Stream pipelines connect consumers to the proposed service. This makes it difficult to create alternative gas supply channels and raises doubts about gas supplies through the Ukrainian gas pipeline.
