Binh Phuoc province supports Nghe An with 1 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 23, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Relief Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to receive 1 billion VND from officials and people of Binh Phuoc province to support Nghe An people affected by storm No. 10.

On the side of Binh Phuoc province, there were comrades Nguyen Van Tram - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Minh Chien - Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

Representing Nghe An province were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of provincial departments and branches.

Storm No. 10 caused widespread human and property damage in Nghe An province, with a total loss of nearly 700 billion VND. After the storm, the province quickly directed departments and localities to promptly intervene to help people overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives and production.

Speaking at the reception ceremony, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the entire Party Committee, Government and people of Binh Phuoc province for their timely and practical encouragement and support to the people in the flood-affected areas of the province. The Vice Chairman promised to promptly allocate and provide relief to the people in the affected areas, helping them to quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

After storm No. 10, with the spirit of mutual love and support, Nghe An province has so far received support of over 6 billion 140 million VND from 7 organizations, unions and 2 individuals. Of which, the units registered to support in cash: Ho Chi Minh City (1.5 billion VND); Vietnam Fatherland Front (500 million VND); FLC Group (2 billion VND); Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee (1 billion VND). Thay Le Pagoda, Hanh Lam Commune (Thanh Chuong) supported people affected by the storm with 400 kg of rice and 100 notebooks./.
