Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organizes the program "March Border"
(Baonghean.vn) - As part of the Youth Month activities, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union organized the program "March Border Month" to promote the spirit of youth.
On the afternoon of March 3, a working delegation of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union led by comrade Pham Tuan Vinh - Standing Member of the Central Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to a number of units located in Thanh Thuy commune (Thanh Chuong district).
This is an activity within the program "March Border" organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union.
Also accompanying the delegation were Colonel Tran Minh Cong - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, and leaders of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee.

According to the Provincial Youth Union Secretary, “March on the Border” with the theme “Following Uncle Ho’s words - Firmly marching - Towards the Fatherland’s border” is the opening program for a series of activities in Youth Month 2018. This is also a program aiming to celebrate the 87th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 59th anniversary of the Border Guard’s tradition day and the 29th anniversary of the People’s Border Guard Day.

"The program is organized to promote the spirit of youth vanguard, contribute to fostering dreams, ambitions, and sense of responsibility for youth union members, protecting and building the country," said the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.
First, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station, located at Thanh Thuy border gate.
After that, the delegation visited the 5th Youth Volunteer Corps, presented 30 bicycles to disadvantaged but excellent students, and gave gifts to new recruits in Ngoc Lam, Hanh Lam, and Thanh Thuy communes preparing to join the army.

Also in the program, Colonel Tran Minh Cong informed about some border security situations as well as ways to mobilize the masses to protect border security./.
