Continuing the program of visiting and working in Nghe An, on the afternoon of October 13, the delegation of Gyeonggi province (Korea) led by Mr. Jung Ki-yul - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council paid a courtesy visit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council. Courtesy greetings to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the working delegationGyeonggi Province's Jung Ki-yul expressed his deep condolences to Nghe An Province for the damage caused by floods.
“We know that Nghe An is one of the localities in Central Vietnam most heavily affected by storms and floods, so we have a small gift to further support families in overcoming the damage,” Mr. Jung expressed the sentiments of the delegation from Korea and presented gifts to support the people of Nghe An through the Provincial People's Council.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien thanked the working delegation for their timely and meaningful sharing with the people of Nghe An.
In addition, Ms. Hien affirmed that the relationship between Nghe An and Gyeonggi provinces has been built and maintained well by both sides since 2013. Leaders of both sides regularly visit and work together to promote bilateral cooperation.
Nghe An is a large province, with the largest area and the fourth largest population in the country. In recent times, the socio-economic, defense and security situation of Nghe An has had many positive developments, and people's lives have improved a lot.
“In that common development, there is a contribution from the effective activities of People's Councils at all levels,” Ms. Hien said, at the same time hoping that, with the goal of the peaceful and friendly cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea to develop more and more, in the coming time, Nghe An - Gyeonggi provinces will have more cooperation activities, experience exchange, investment promotion, etc., further enhancing effective cooperation between people and businesses.

Next, visiting the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College in Vinh City, the delegation heard an overview of the school's achievements, especially its significant contribution of human resources to the local economic development.
Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial People's Council Jung Ki-yul highly appreciated the school's performance and hoped that it would continue to maintain its position as a trusted address for Korean enterprises investing in the Vietnamese market.

“In Gyeonggi, there are global enterprises such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai and many small and medium enterprises operating. The investment wave from Korean enterprises to Vietnam is very strong, so there is a great need for good human resources with high discipline,” said the Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial People's Council.
Mr. Jung also proposed that in the coming time, when the delegation of Nghe An province visits and works in Gyeonggi province, the two sides will coordinate to organize meetings and promote with Korean enterprises, bringing benefits to both enterprises and job opportunities for workers.
