Nghe An province and South Australia state promote cooperation in education and training
(Baonghean.vn) - On August 24, at the invitation of the South Australian government, a working delegation led by Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Investment Promotion and Support Center and representatives of Vinh University, had a working trip to Ho Chi Minh City to attend investment cooperation activities with the South Australian delegation.
At the first working session, the delegation listened to Mr. Martin Hamilton-Smith MP - Minister of Trade and Investment of South Australia introduce the opportunities and cooperation potential of South Australia.

Also this morning, a discussion session on education and training took place. On the side of South Australia, there was Mr. Peter Klar - Director of Immigration and International Education, Department of State Development, South Australia and representatives of the South Australian Senior Secondary Education Program (SACE), the University of Adelaide, Flinders University, Sace University and TAFE South Australia.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Peter Klar - Director of Immigration and International Education, Department of State Development, South Australia, introduced an overview of education and training in South Australia. He said that the university and vocational education system in South Australia is developing strongly, with some prestigious and high-quality schools, typically the University of Adelaide and Flinders University, ranked in the top 200 schools in the world and being the choice of many international students.

South Australia is also a highly culturally diverse state, and has a number of pro-migrant policies; there is a dedicated department that promotes and implements policies to make South Australia a "priority destination for higher education".
On behalf of the delegation of Nghe An province, comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave an overview of the education and vocational training situation in the province. He hoped that the meeting would be a good start for cooperation in education and training in the coming time between Nghe An province and South Australia.
At the meeting, the two sides had heated discussions on the possibilities and directions for educational cooperation between Nghe An and South Australia in the coming time. Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa expressed his hope that South Australia would support Nghe An in sending cadres, teachers and students to Australia for training to improve foreign language proficiency, expertise and vocational skills for Nghe An province's workforce towards international standards.
