Nghe An province promotes investment in Australia.

(Baonghean.vn) - A delegation from the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized diplomatic activities and investment promotion in Australia.

On the morning of July 10th, in Melbourne, Victoria, a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa, held a working meeting with partners and businesses in Australia.

Attending the meeting from the Australian side were: Mr. Daniel Bisignano - Senior Investment Officer of Victoria State, Mr. Trung Le - Trade Officer of Victoria State, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Thuy, Deputy Consul General of Vietnam in Sydney, and representatives of the Australian Chamber of Commerce (AusCham).

The Nghe An delegation included representatives from several sectors and investors in the province such as VSIP, Hermaraj, Cienco 4, etc.

During the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa gave a general overview of Nghe An province, highlighting information about its potential, advantages, and policies to attract investment.

This includes introducing investment opportunities in VSIP Industrial Park and Hermaraj Industrial Park, and expressing the hope that the Victorian State Government and businesses in Australia will pay attention to and research Nghe An to explore investment opportunities.

The investment areas that Nghe An province is introducing to Australian businesses for investment exploration include: supporting industries; mechanical engineering: manufacturing and assembling automobile parts, manufacturing electronic equipment and components, telecommunications, information technology, medical equipment and pharmaceutical production; investment and business in industrial park infrastructure, etc.

In particular, the province warmly welcomes and creates all favorable conditions for Australian and other foreign businesses to invest in high-tech agricultural sectors, prioritizing projects with modern technology and environmental protection.

Representatives from the Victorian government and several Australian businesses highly appreciated the initiative of the Nghe An provincial government and AusCham in organizing this working session, which provided important information for Australian businesses to study.

With strengths in processing and high-tech industries, representatives from Victoria and Australian businesses expect to promote investment in Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular.

Following their working visit to Victoria, the Nghe An provincial delegation will organize an "Investment Promotion Workshop" in Adelaide (South Australia) and conduct several business networking activities in Australia.
