Korean volunteers donate practice room to Vietnam - Korea Technical College
On the morning of May 23, at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, the Project Handover Ceremony of Korean volunteers was held.
Also attending were Ms. Won Ji Young - Deputy Country Director of KOICA Office in Vietnam, Ms. Ho Thi Chau Loan - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training and related departments and offices.

The project “Improving the practical teaching environment of the electronics department” was carried out by volunteer Park Yongsoo and the help ofKorea International Cooperation Agency KOICA.
Accordingly, the project has supported 2 Microprocessor Practice Rooms and SCADA Practice Room which are one of the important parts in Semiconductor Chip Technology and Production Line Supervisory Control.

The project is aimed at improving the quality of training in the field of electrical and electronic industry through the compilation of three practical textbooks, translation into Vietnamese and publication to serve training purposes.
In addition, the project focused on improving the practical capacity of lecturers and students through training in SCADA automation systems. At the same time, improving the conditions of practice rooms by installing air conditioners, surveillance cameras, and projectors, helping students have a more favorable learning environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Ho Thi Chau Loan expressed her gratitude to the KOICA Office in Vietnam, to the volunteers and the school's efforts in implementing the project.
At the same time, he affirmed that the project handover ceremony is a meaningful event demonstrating the depth and effectiveness of the cooperative relationship between Korea and Vietnam, especially in the field of vocational education.

Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College was established in 1998, built with non-refundable ODA aid from the Korean Government, with the mission of training technical workers to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country. In recent times, in addition to vocational training activities, the school has also participated in many people-to-people diplomacy activities, propaganda and education, and promotion of cultural beauty between the two peoples of Vietnam and Korea.
