In response to the Prime Minister's call to "say no to plastic waste", since the beginning of August, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Office has implemented many specific and practical actions.

Instead of using plastic bottled water as before, starting from August, the Provincial Party Committee Office has been equipped with glass water bottles. This is water that has been boiled and treated through a filtration system. Previously, plastic bottles were only used once, but now glass bottles are used for a long time. This not only saves money but also avoids the discharge of plastic waste into the environment.
Since its implementation, all meetings held at Nghe An Provincial Party Committee have used glass water bottles. The Provincial Party Committee Office also encourages delegates, officials and employees to equip themselves with personal water containers to protect the environment, minimizing the use of harmful materials such as plastic, nylon, etc.
Previously, on August 26, at the meeting of the People's Committee of Nghe An province to prepare for the art program "Ben Thuy Hero" which will take place on the evening of September 8, the leaders of the People's Committee of the province expressed their determination not to use plastic water bottles at this event attracting about 5,000 people. This is also a move showing that Nghe An province is determined to say no to plastic waste.
