TKV achieved revenue of 110,982 billion VND.
Over 30 collectives and individuals from TKV were awarded Certificates of Merit for their achievements in completing the business coordination plan.
On the morning of April 12th, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV) held the "Ceremony to Commend Outstanding Exemplars and Summarize Emulation and Commendation Work in 2013" to honor and encourage collectives and individuals of the Group who have strived and innovated in labor and production, overcome difficulties and challenges, achieved outstanding results, and made important contributions to overcoming difficulties, maintaining stable production and business, and fulfilling the tasks of 2013.

Implementing the 2013 business plan amidst challenging economic conditions, the parent company and its member companies within the Group have consistently pursued the goals of safety, stability, efficiency, and development, striving to overcome difficulties and challenges, and successfully achieving the main targets of the 2013 plan.
Accordingly, in 2013, the output of raw coal produced by TKV reached 42.6 million tons, achieving 101% of the plan; the amount of clean coal reached 39.5 million tons, also equaling 101% of the plan. Throughout the year, the entire industry consumed 39.1 million tons of coal, including 12 million tons exported and 27.1 million tons consumed domestically.
Furthermore, the Group's mining and power generation sectors also achieved many encouraging results, exceeding the planned targets. The Group's total revenue in 2013 reached VND 110,982 billion, pre-tax profit reached VND 3,100 billion, and tax contributions to the state budget amounted to VND 12,700 billion.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Bien, Deputy General Director of TKV Group, to achieve the above results, in addition to implementing solutions regarding organizational work, management and operation, the emulation and reward work within the Group has been given extensive attention and development in all areas of production and work, creating synchronization in management, generating momentum and motivation to promote creativity, overcome difficulties and challenges, maintain stability and ensure efficiency in production and business.
With that perspective, from the very first day of the year, the contents, targets, and measures for emulation were developed and widely implemented within the TKV Group of companies. A series of specific regulations on emulation and reward were developed and promulgated. 100% of the units registered to compete in completing the coordinated business plan and the emulation goals launched by the Group; hundreds of teams/workshops, construction sites, and workshops registered to compete in achieving record productivity for the Group.

In 2013, the Group awarded the Group's Leading Excellence Flag to 21 teams/units; awarded the Record Productivity Flag to 8 teams/units; and presented 27 Certificates of Merit to teams/units with outstanding achievements in the record productivity emulation movement. Eighteen key projects completed on schedule and with good quality were also commended by the Group's General Director.
At this morning's awards ceremony, 4 units were awarded the Leading Unit Flag by the Group, 8 units received Certificates of Merit, and 21 member units of subsidiary companies were awarded Certificates of Merit for their achievements in completing the coordinated business plan.
On behalf of the Group's Emulation and Commendation Council, Deputy General Director Nguyen Van Bien warmly commended and sincerely thanked the collectives and individuals of the units for their outstanding efforts and achievements in labor, production, and other areas of work.
The achievements of both collectives and individuals have made significant contributions to the efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges in order to successfully complete the Group's production and business tasks in 2013.
