Traffic accident, one student dies.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 5:15 PM on December 29th, a serious accident occurred in Quynh Van commune (Quynh Luu district), resulting in the tragic death of a student under the wheels of a truck carrying stones.

According to eyewitnesses, at the time of the accident, there was a large crowd of students leaving school. However, the driver of a truck with license plate 37V-0522, whose name has not yet been identified, was driving at a relatively high speed on the inter-village road connecting Quynh Van rocky hill to National Highway 1A when he collided with the bicycle of Doan Van Manh, a 6th grade student from Quynh Van Secondary School. The strong impact caused the bicycle and Manh to be trapped under the truck's wheels. The victim died instantly at the scene.

After causing the accident, the driver fled the scene. When people shouted and chased after him, they demanded that he surrender at the Quỳnh Lưu District Police Station.

The victim was reportedly the son of Mr. Doan Van Dung, residing in Hamlet 18, Quynh Van Commune, whose family is in very difficult circumstances.
