The CI organization awards scholarships to underprivileged students who overcome difficulties.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 9th, the Zhi Shan Foundation (CI), with its office in Hue, collaborated with the Nghe An Provincial Children's Protection Fund to award scholarships for the second time to underprivileged students in Thanh Chuong district.
This scholarship program is for 100 primary school students from the communes of Thanh Son, Ngoc Lam, Thanh Tung, and Thanh Mai, which are remote areas inhabited by ethnic minorities.

Accordingly, each student received a scholarship of 600,000 VND, along with a 50,000 VND bonus and a set of student desk and chair. The scholarship will be provided until the student graduates from university.
Zhi Shan Foundation (commonly known as CI) is a non-governmental organization from Taiwan that has been providing humanitarian aid in Vietnam since 1995. Currently, it is implementing numerous projects supporting education and healthcare for disadvantaged children in the provinces of Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An.
This time, 200 students across the province received scholarships in the second round.
