Organize a free screening program called "Hearts for Children".
Implementing the 2016 plan for screening for congenital heart disease in children, within the framework of the "Heart for Children" program organized by the Vietnam-Taiwan Heart Foundation of Vietnam Television in coordination with the Military Telecommunications Group, Viettel Nghe An organized screening for congenital heart disease in children (under 16 years old) throughout the province from January 16th to 17th, 2016.
1. Patients to be examined:
Children under 16 years of age who have one or more of the following symptoms:
Have been diagnosed/suspected of having congenital heart disease by doctors at medical facilities;
Often experiences recurring coughs and wheezing;
Abnormal breathing (rapid breathing, chest retraction during inhalation);
Children often suffer from pneumonia and bronchitis;
Infants who exhibit slow feeding times (lasting over 30 minutes) or are unable to finish a feeding session;
Rapid breathing, or sweating, especially after feedings;
Children who are slow to grow, have pale skin, feel cold, sweat profusely, and are often very easily tired;
Lips, tongue, and fingertips turned bluish-purple.
Shortness of breath when exerting oneself.

ButMedical examinations for children in the following districts:Vinh City, Nghi Loc District, Cua Lo Town, Dien Chau District, Quynh Luu District, Hoang Mai Town, Yen Thanh District, Nghia Dan District, Thai Hoa Town, Quy Hop District, Quy Chau District, Que Phong District.
- January 17, 2016 (from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM):
Medical examinations for children in the following districts:Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Do Luong, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son.
3. Location:
Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, No. 19, Ton That Tung Street, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.
Families with children exhibiting any of the above symptoms will receive free examinations and can apply for assistance from the "Heart for Children" program.
