Organize mini football tournament to support hometown
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 11, at Defo Stadium, Di An Town (Binh Duong), the Thanh Xuan Commune Association (Thanh Chuong) organized a mini football tournament to raise funds to support their hometown.
The tournament was attended by 8 teams of children from 8 hamlets of Thanh Xuan commune who are living, studying and working in the South. The tournament took place from December 11, 2016 to January 1, 2017.
The organizers plan to award first, second, third, style, best fan, best goalkeeper, best player prizes, of which the first prize will be awarded a trophy and 3 million VND.

Although the Thanh Xuan Commune Association's mini football tournament in the South is a grassroots tournament at the commune level, it is organized in a fairly systematic manner, aiming to create a useful playground, enhance the exchange and connection of fellow countrymen, and especially call on children far from home, sponsors, and philanthropists to donate to support Thanh Xuan hometown.

Right at the opening ceremony, the organizing committee donated nearly 37 million VND, 100 books of all kinds, 100 comic books, hundreds of notebooks, more than 240 echip books - a handbook for computer users...
The Organizing Committee will welcome support from all organizations and individuals until the closing ceremony of the tournament. The money and materials raised will be sent back to the hometown to give to poor but studious students of Tran Hung Hoc and Dang Thai Mai primary schools, libraries of primary and secondary schools and Thanh Xuan commune library./.
