Successfully organized the 3rd National Sports Festival.

(Baonghean.vn) -After three days of exciting, engaging, and fierce competition, the Thanh Tung Commune Sports Festival (Thanh Chuong District) concluded successfully on May 15th, with the first prize for the overall team going to Phuong Loc hamlet.

Second prize went to Yen Thanh hamlet; Tung Tan, Thuan Trung, and Phuong Hoang hamlets shared third prize.

This year's大会 (congress/tournament) features over 200 athletes representing 11 neighborhood units, 3 school units, and a health station, competing in 5 traditional sports: volleyball, athletics, badminton, stick pushing, and women's tug-of-war.

The athletes gave their all in the tug-of-war final.

Mr. Tran Hung Mau, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Tung commune, said that this congress is not only an opportunity to call on all citizens to exercise following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh, to be healthy to build and protect the country, but also a beneficial playground for athletes who are farmers after tiring days of the harvest. The congress is also an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from each other, and strengthen solidarity and friendship among units in the commune.
