(Baonghean.vn) - Realizing the great profits from growing bananas, both for livestock and for selling products from root to tip, people in Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son) have established a banana growing cooperative.
Ban Ba, Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son) has 140 households, all of which raise pigs. Banana trees are the main food for livestock, so the local people have established a Banana Growing Cooperative, consisting of 12 households, led by Ms. Vi Thi Kham (left). This is a place where the soil is loose and rich in alluvium, making it very suitable for growing this type of tree.
