Seminar '180 years of Yen Thanh formation and development'

(Baonghean.vn) - In the program celebrating the 180th anniversary of its founding,afternoon 15/12Yen Thanh district organized a seminar: "180 years of Yen Thanh formation and development".

The seminar received many comments and lively, quality discussions with pride in the history and development of Yen Thanh as well as suggestions for the district to develop further with the main contents: explaining and evaluating the characteristics and outstanding features of the conditions, development areas and impacts on the formation of the homeland's traditions.

Speaking at the seminar, comrade Nguyen The Trung said that Yen Thanh needs to effectively promote resources, focusing on human resources and historical traditions of learning.

To do so, "the district needs to step up propaganda work, change the awareness of each cadre, party member and citizen to create ideological consensus" - comrade Nguyen The Trung emphasized.

Speaking at the ceremony, VOV General Director Nguyen The Ky suggested that Yen Thanh district needs to have a master plan with a long-term vision to create highlights, ensure reasonableness, effectiveness and widely propagate to the people to know and comply with, and effectively implement the plan.

The VOV General Director also requested the district to take care of education and training, health care for the people; pay attention to tourism development and continue to promote the tradition of hospitality, respect the team of intellectuals, artists, journalists...

At the same time, according to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Yen Thanh needs to develop a project on tourism development in the district; pay attention to preserving and restoring historical and cultural relics... combined with building and connecting tours and tourism products.

Previously, delegates listened to the Report on the District Agricultural Development Plan associated with the National Target Program on New Rural Development and Restructuring the Agricultural Sector towards Sustainability by 2035, with a vision to 2050, presented by Prof. Dr. Phan Lieu - Director of the Institute of Ecological and Environmental Geography, Vice President of the Vietnam Soil Science Association.

Yen Thanh District Party Secretary Nguyen Van De thanked and accepted the contributions and suggestions of the delegates to build the district to develop further.

On this occasion, Yen Thanh district also summarized and awarded the contest "Learning about 180 years of Yen Thanh's formation and development" and 3 groups and 18 individuals were awarded the First, Second, Third and Encouragement prizes.
