Attending the seminar were representatives of Nghe An province's leaders, scientists from inside and outside the province, many lecturers and alumni of the Faculty of Literature, Vinh University and representatives of the family of teacher and researcher Nguyen Trung Hieu.

The life and career of teacher Nguyen Trung Hieu are closely associated with Vinh University. Before September 1945, he participated in Viet Minh activities under the alias Hoang Van Xich; from 1945 to 1958, he was in charge of youth work, the front, and propaganda in the district, then became the Principal of Dien Chau Inter-School for the Poor.
