Seminar, gift giving, free medical examination and medicine for policy beneficiaries in border communes

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 25, Defense Economic Group 4, Tri Le Commune Border Guard Station (Que Phong) coordinated with local authorities to organize a discussion, give gifts, examine and provide free medicine to policy beneficiaries in the area.

At the seminar, along with reviewing the history of dedication and glorious fighting of the people's armed forces and the blood sacrifices of our army and people in the resistance wars to save the country on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the above units organized medical examinations and provided free medicine for policy beneficiaries in the border commune of Tri Le.

Also on this occasion, 11 war invalids and policy families in Tri Le commune received gifts from the President and the Provincial People's Committee. Along with that, to show gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for their homeland and country, Tri Le Border Guard Station gave each person 200,000 VND, the National Defense Economic Group gave 100,000 VND/person and Tri Le Commune People's Committee also gave each person 200,000 VND. In addition, each person received a gift worth 150,000 VND./.
