All assets of Vu 'nhom' and his wife are frozen.
Da Nang City requests to stop all property transactions related to Phan Van Anh Vu (aka Vu 'nhom') and Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (wife of Vu 'nhom').
The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just requested the City's Land Registration Office and civil servant offices to freeze and stop all transactions of buying, selling, donating, transferring, and authorizing assets of Vu "nhom" and his wife.
It is known that the freezing of these individuals' assets is to serve the investigation of the case of "Intentionally violating State regulations on economic management causing serious consequences" and "Abusing position and power to appropriate property" occurring at Dong A Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
On June 13, Da Nang Chairman Huynh Duc Tho also signed a document assigning relevant departments to study legal procedures to revoke the restaurant and marina project of Phan Van Anh Vu (Vu 'nhom') in the south of Han River port.

Previously, on December 26, 2017, in order to serve the investigation of the case of "Revealing state secrets", Vice Chairman of Da Nang Nguyen Ngoc Tuan signed a document requesting the Department of Justice and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to direct affiliated units and notary offices to temporarily suspend transactions and transfer of property ownership for 4 individuals.
These four individuals include Mr. Phan Van Anh Vu, Le Van Sau (born in 1975), Tran Dai Vu (born in 1975) and Nguyen Thi Thu Hien (wife of Vu 'nhom', born in 1978), all residing in Da Nang City.
