That is the information provided by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chiem, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the press conference organized by the Hanoi Party Committee on the afternoon of April 7.
The 5 high-altitude locations include: Hoan Kiem Lake (with 2 locations in front of the Hanoi Post Office and in front of the headquarters of the Hanoi Moi newspaper); Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung District; Van Quan Lake, Ha Dong District; My Dinh National Stadium, Nam Tu Liem District and Son Tay Town Flower Garden. The funding for the fireworks display will be socialized.
Along with that, Hanoi also organized many activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 125th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2015). In particular, the city carried out visual propaganda with banners, billboards, and propaganda paintings on the streets; coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Television to organize a live television program to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification on the evening of April 11, at the Vietnam Military History Museum; coordinated to organize a national bicycle race for the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup, opening at 7:00 a.m. on April 11 at Ly Thai To Monument; organized cultural, artistic, and sports performances at Ly Thai To flower garden and Ha Dong District Center.
The city also held a national celebration of the 125th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh on May 18 at the My Dinh National Convention Center; organized art and sports programs praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh at August Revolution Square and the center of Ha Dong district on the evening of May 18; organized art and sports performances on the evening of May 17 at the Ly Thai To monument flower garden; organized a discussion and exchange on "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" and a photo exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh at the Hanoi Museum.../.
