16 "ladies" were caught gambling on the gambling mat

On February 16, the police of Di An town (Binh Duong) said they were detaining 16 suspects related to gambling and organizing gambling in Chau Thoi neighborhood (Binh An ward, Di An town).

The ladies were arrested by the police.

According to the police, the police force of Di An town had previously surrounded and raided house number 810/1, Chau Thoi quarter, catching dozens of "ladies" engrossed in gambling. All 16 people involved were detained by the police. The police seized evidence at the gambling table with more than 100 million VND and 8 decks of cards.

Police determined that the casino was organized by Nguyen Thi Thu Hong (52 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) during the Lunar New Year to collect money. Hong's casino was mainly attended by "ladies" from many places who came to gamble with each game worth millions of dong. Currently, the authorities are continuing to expand the investigation to handle the case.
