Brackish water shrimp is included in the list of national products.

The Prime Minister has just approved the addition of the National Product List to be implemented from 2017 under the National Product Development Program until 2020.

Accordingly, brackish water shrimp (including black tiger shrimp and white-leg shrimp); high-quality Vietnamese coffee and Vietnamese ginseng are products added to the National Product List.

The Prime Minister requested that in addition to the policy mechanisms prescribed in Decision No. 2441/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2010 of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Science and Technology shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and relevant ministries, branches, and localities to develop and submit to the Prime Minister a number of specific preferential policy mechanisms for each of the above national products.
