Currently, Hung Nguyen district has 111 historical sites, including 12 national-level sites and 15 provincial-level sites. The District People's Committee has directed the communes and towns where the sites are located, and the Site Management Boards, to assign staff to monitor and ensure security, order, and environmental hygiene. An annual budget of 100 million VND is allocated to prevent the deterioration of these sites. Each year, the district conducts inspections of the sites and promptly implements solutions for restoration and preservation in accordance with regulations.

However, there are also some shortcomings such as: the promotional and advertising work is not truly attractive or engaging; the socialization of the festival is still limited, failing to mobilize the support of businesses inside and outside the province; the festival is not truly linked to tourism, and is somewhat administrative in nature.

During the field trip to the historical sites in the area, the monitoring team observed that Hung Nguyen district has a plan to develop these sites into cultural and spiritual landmarks of the region. However, local authorities from the commune to the district level need a roadmap for classifying revolutionary historical sites, a plan to attract tourists, and a plan to organize learning and education about traditions for the younger generation, avoiding a situation where some classified sites have not had a positive impact on people's lives. The team also suggested that local authorities should develop a roadmap to bring festivals closer to the community.
