General Secretary leaves for official visit to Indonesia and Myanmar
On the morning of August 22, 2017, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation left Hanoi for an official visit to Indonesia and a state visit to the Federal Republic of Myanmar.
At the invitation of President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Htin Kyaw, on the morning of August 22, 2017, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation left Hanoi for an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia and a state visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Joining the delegation with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong were comrades Pham Binh Minh, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Hoang Trung Hai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Central Office; Hoang Binh Quan, Party Central Committee member, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission; Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Tran Tuan Anh, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Industry and Trade; Le Thanh Long, Party Central Committee member, Minister of Justice; Nguyen Chi Vinh, Party Central Committee member, Senior Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Bui Van Nam, Party Central Committee member, Senior Lieutenant General, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Ho Mau Ngoat, Assistant to the General Secretary. Participating in the delegation in each country were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Myanmar Luan Thuy Duong./.
