General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary Xi Jinping visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum
On the morning of April 15, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and a high-ranking Chinese delegation laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
Also attending the funeral were General Secretary To Lam and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.
The Vietnam-China friendship was painstakingly cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong and generations of leaders of the two countries. This is a valuable common asset of the Vietnamese and Chinese people, contributing to maintaining the stable development trend of the traditional Vietnam-China friendship, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
"The Vietnam-China friendship is both comradeship and brotherhood" is the most vivid expression of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries of China and Vietnam.

Vice President of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association Nguyen Vinh Quang said that Uncle Ho spent many years working in the revolution in China. "When you go to China, if you ask Chinese people what their biggest impression of Vietnam is, it is probably Uncle Ho. When talking about him, the Chinese people are all excited and impressed," he shared.
In China, there are currently about 70 relics bearing the mark of President Ho Chi Minh, some of which are called Ho Chi Minh Museums.
Vietnam and China have jointly organized exhibitions about Uncle Ho on holidays.
In China, there are many people who study Uncle Ho, called Ho Chi Minh scholars. Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang mentioned Professor Hoang Tranh, former Vice President of the Guangxi Institute of Social Sciences, who devoted his whole life to studying Uncle Ho. Mr. Hoang Tranh traveled all over China to search for traces and wrote books about him.
Or Professor Van Trang was sent to Vietnam in the 1950s to work as an interpreter for Uncle Ho with Chinese experts. When peace was restored, working at the Chinese Embassy, he had many memories of Uncle Ho.
"Before he passed away in 2013, he often told me: "In the remaining years I live with Uncle Ho, I live for Uncle Ho. If I do not leave anything for my children and grandchildren about Uncle Ho, I will die with my eyes open." Therefore, in 2009, he wrote the book President Ho Chi Minh in my heart," Mr. Quang recalled Professor Trang's words.
