International data shows that this aircraft is a Falcon 8X. The cost of a charter flight from the UK to Southeast Asia is usually around360,000 USD/trip, equivalent to about8.3 billion VND, according to Privatefly and multiple brokers.

The Dassualt Falcon 8X that carried the 32nd patient back to Vietnam is owned by VW Air Service, a German airline. The age of the plane was not disclosed.

According toFlightAware.com, the flight from London to Ho Chi Minh City lasted nearly 13 hours, landing at Tan Son Nhat at 8:12 a.m. on March 9. This data matches the information about the journey of Covid-19 patient number 32 in Vietnam.

This patient is a 24-year-old female Vietnamese national living in London, UK, who had contact with Ms. NHN (the 17th patient in Vietnam infected with Covid-19) in London (UK) on February 27.

Regarding epidemiological information, the patient started coughing on March 2 (in London - UK), without fever. This person went to a hospital in London for examination and was given medicine to treat at home.

On March 7, after learning that Ms. NHN (the 17th patient in Vietnam) had Covid-19, the patient returned to the hospital for examination and was given more medicine to take home, but her dry cough did not improve and she had no fever.

Unsure about his health, the patient chartered a private plane (flight number WGT2B) to return to Vietnam and entered the country at 8:15 a.m. on March 9. His body temperature was 37.5 degrees Celsius and he had a dry cough. He was immediately transferred to the Field Hospital in Cu Chi (HCMC) by a specialized vehicle for strict quarantine.

Because he traveled by private plane straight to the quarantine area, patient 32 did not come into contact with anyone else and almost no F1 cases arose.

X-ray images showed the patient had interstitial pneumonia. Currently, this person is conscious, has stable vital signs, still has a dry cough, a slightly red throat, no fever, is breathing smoothly and can breathe on his own. On the evening of March 9, test results at the Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases confirmed that the patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The patient was isolated and treated at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City from 8:30 p.m. on March 9.

A relative of patient number 32 revealed toZing.vnthat her family did not want to show off. But to ensure the safety of their daughter and everyone, they had to charter a private plane.

“The family could have booked the entire business class cabin for their daughter to fly from the UK to Vietnam, but they realized that it was not safe enough for her and everyone else because she had been staying in an epidemic area. Therefore, using their connections, they hired a private plane to take their daughter back to Vietnam,” this person said.

"Immediately after she landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, her family complied with the regulations of the Ministry of Health and quarantined her at a field hospital."

Relatives of the female patient also revealed that to rent a private plane to transport her, the family spent nearly $1 million.10 billion VND, including aircraft rental, waiting fees and aircraft disinfection.

"In addition, to charter a private plane from England, the family also had to use their extensive connections. At that time, for them, the safety of their daughter as well as everyone else was the most important thing," this person said.
