Vinamilk's CEO is an outstanding CEO in Asia.

Ms. Mai Kieu Lien received the title of "Outstanding CEOs of Asia in the field of Investor Relations".

The Asian Business Management Magazine, based in Hong Kong (China), has announced that Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, Chairwoman and CEO of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), is one of the CEOs to receive the “ASIAN EXCELLENCE RECOGNITION AWARDS 2012” (Outstanding Individuals/Companies in Asia 2012) with the title “Outstanding CEOs in Asia in the field of Investor Relations”.

Ms. Mai Kieu Lien is the first and only CEO from Vietnam to receive this prestigious award, alongside leaders from other major corporations in the Asian region such as China Telecom, Maybank, DBS Group, Singapore Airlines, HTC, Thaibev, Nissan Group, San Miguel, etc.

In 2012, Vinamilk achieved revenue of over 27,300 billion VND, including nearly 180 million USD in export turnover; and contributed over 2,900 billion VND to the state budget. 2012 marked Vinamilk's highest ever sales year, with over 4 billion products sold.

Speaking about Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, the magazine wrote: “This award is given to her in recognition of her long-term commitment to the development of corporate governance in the areas of investor relations, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, environmental responsibility, and corporate financial performance in the region.”

The awards ceremony will take place on March 27, 2013 in Hong Kong (China), marking the 10th anniversary of the Asian Business Management magazine.

This is also the second time Ms. Mai Kieu Lien has been honored by the Asian Business Management magazine. In May 2012, she was selected by the magazine as one of the best business leaders in Asia in the field of business management.
