Summary of the contest Learning about the history of special relations between Vietnam and Laos in 2017
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 18, in Vinh City, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized a summary and award ceremony for the 2017 provincial-level contest "Learning about the History of the Special Relationship between Vietnam and Laos".

The 2017 provincial-level contest "Learning about the History of Vietnam - Laos Special Relations" was organized to respond to the "Vietnam - Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year 2017" and to respond to the Central-level contest.
The contest was launched from May 10 to September 20, 2017 and received 120,536 entries. Some localities with a large number of entries include: Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Quy Chau, Nghi Loc, Tan Ky, Anh Son, Hoang Mai town, Vinh city, Party Committee of Provincial Agencies...
The oldest contestant was Nguyen Dang De, 90 years old, 70 years old in the Party (Truong Thi ward, Vinh city) and the youngest was Nguyen Thi Quynh Truc, 9 years old (Tan Lac town, Quy Chau district).

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the authors of 18 articles, including 1 First Prize, 3 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, 9 Encouragement Prizes; and selected 50 articles with the highest quality to submit to the Central level competition.
Regarding the multiple-choice test format via the website of the Central Competition Organizing Committee, Nghe An had thousands of participants and won 7 prizes, including 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 3 third prizes.
The contest has contributed to raising awareness among all classes of people about solidarity, friendship and cooperation for development between Vietnam - Laos in general, Nghe An with 3 provinces of Laos sharing the same border: Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang and Bolikhamxay in particular.
