The Internal Affairs - Armed Forces of Nghe An province consists of 8 units: Provincial People's Procuracy, Provincial Police, Provincial Border Guard, Provincial Military Command, Provincial People's Court, Department of Justice, Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement and Provincial Inspectorate.

Detect and handle many violations

For example, in addition to performing its functions and tasks, the Provincial People's Procuracy mobilized civil servants to donate to repair and renovate a house for a policy family in Dong Van commune (Que Phong) with an amount of more than 86 million VND; mobilized cadres, civil servants and employees of the two-level Procuracy to donate to various charity and humanitarian funds with a total amount of nearly 279 million VND.

The provincial police have mobilized officers, soldiers, and philanthropists to contribute, visit, and give gifts to the poor and policy families with a total amount of nearly 4 billion VND. In the fight against crime, synchronous and drastic preventive measures have been implemented, reducing crimes against social order compared to the same period. Detected and arrested 1,349 cases, 1,800 criminalsdrug, seized 38.3 kg of heroin, 191.6 kg of crystal meth, 43.1 kg of synthetic drugs, 69.8 kg of opium, 6.8 kg of marijuana.

The provincial inspectorate, through administrative inspection, discovered 251/434 units with violations with a total amount of 32,378 million VND, discovered violations and recommended handling 20,564 m2 of land. As a result, 13,059/15,636 million VND was recovered for the budget, reaching a rate of 83.5%, and 1,305/1,404 m2 of land was recovered for the state, reaching a rate of 92.95%.

Promote emulation movements

The conference affirmed that the patriotic emulation movement in 2020 of the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces emulation bloc has received attention from leaders and directed to launch emulation with many innovative contents, forms and measures; creating changes from awareness to action of cadres, civil servants, soldiers and employees, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of professional work.

The content of the emulation movement closely followed political and professional tasks, associated with Resolution 4 of the 12th Central Committee and Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting the emulation movement.Study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and styleMany units have had initiatives, launching short-term, thematic competitions, linked to political events, national and industry holidays.

At the conference, representatives of the units also frankly pointed out some limitations such as the emulation movement at the grassroots level is not uniform and comprehensive, the implementation process at some grassroots units does not have specific solutions. The work of discovering, building and replicating advanced typical models as well as the work of promoting good people and good deeds is still limited.

Due to the different nature of professional work of units in the Internal Affairs - Armed Forces Bloc, there has not been much exchange and learning of experience in professional work as well as emulation and reward work.

Based on the results of emulation work in 2020 and the functions and tasks of the units, the Internal Affairs - Provincial Armed Forces Bloc determined the direction of emulation and reward work in 2021 with the following contents: Continuing to thoroughly implement Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII) on Party building and rectification and the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws for cadres, workers, party members and soldiers.

Continue to implement patriotic emulation movements of all sectors; pay attention to building, fostering, and replicating advanced models, good people, and good deeds.

Implementing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas"; departments and branches continue to focus on investing and helping disadvantaged communes to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty according to the assignment decision of the Provincial People's Committee...
